Tower cranes are the steel machines that are designed for carrying the heavy loads on a fixed or moveable support at workplaces.

Tower cranes are divided into three main parts depending on the foot frame. These parts are known as fixed feet, moveable feet and feet embedded in concrete.

• Masts

Mast towers form the body part of the crane and allow the operator to reach the cabin.

• Boms

There are balance stones around the arm at the back of the boom. These stones carry weights outside the body part.
